Terms & Conditions

 

Booking

·      All event bookings must be confirmed in writing by the Client.  This will be taken as understanding and acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

·      A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required to secure Fennel and Twine’s services for the date of the event.  This will be deducted from the final invoice and a receipt will be issued by Fennel and Twine once the payment has been received as confirmation of the booking.

·      Guest menu choices must be confirmed 3 weeks prior to the event, unless alternative arrangements have been made.

·      Fennel and Twine charges mileage for private dining events outside of Bristol at a rate of £0.65 per mile for a return journey. Large events such as weddings and corporate events, will be charged individually.

Payment

·      A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required to secure the booking. This will be deducted from the final balance.

·      The Client will then be invoiced for 50% of the expected final invoice and payment will be required three months prior to the event

·      The final invoice will be sent following confirmation of numbers and meal choices, this final balance will be due no later than 21 days prior to the event.

·      Fennel and Twine must be informed of any final changes to numbers and choices no later than 21 days before the event.

·      Payment may be made by direct bank account transfer to Fennel and Twine’s bank account via BACS or in cash. 

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

·      The Client must confirm any final dietary requirements within three weeks of the event.

·      Fennel and Twine is not able to take responsibility for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies unless notified in advance.

·      Fennel and Twine will do their best to provide suitable adaptations. 

·      A full list of allergens for each dish can be provided upon request.

Liability

·      The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by Fennel and Twine for the event.

·      Fennel and Twine accepts no liability for any food supplied by another caterer.

·      Fennel and Twine will not be held liable for the theft, loss or damage to any personal effects of the Client or gifts brought onto premises by the Clients guests.

·      Fennel and Twine have full public and products liability insurance (£5,000,000) and our certificate is available on request.

Cancellation charges

·    In the unfortunate event of a booking being cancelled, the Client is required to confirm this in writing. 

·      In the event of cancellation within six weeks of the event then 50% of the total event cost will be charged.

·      In the event of cancellation within three weeks of the event then 100% of the total event cost will be charged.

Force Majeure

·      Fennel and Twine shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Fennel and Twine’s control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, pandemic, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.

GDPR and Privacy Policy

Future Changes to Terms and Conditions

·      Fennel and Twine reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions when necessary due to the changing nature of the business.  It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that they are up to date with the Terms and Conditions.
